This page explains what data we collect and what we use it for.

When we use "GitHub data", we mean anything you give access to through our GitHub App scopes, such as repository contents, metadata, or email addresses.

Here is what we will never do with your data:

• we will never access your GitHub data for any reason besides providing the site's functionality
• we will never share your GitHub data with 3rd parties

Here is what we may do with your data:

• we may send email to your GitHub email addresses for the purpose of providing the site's functionality
• we may send email to your GitHub email addresses with infrequent important announcements about the site
• we may allow Google Analytics to indefinitely store anonymous information about your interaction with the site as governed by their privacy policy to better understand aggregate user behavior
• we may allow Humio to temporarily store any information logged by the site for up to seven days to assist in debugging as governed by their privacy policy
